Responsibilities
Job Duties
The Production Assistant provides production support to Associate Producers and Producers.
Maintains structure in the newsroom regarding scripts and chyrons.
Prepare scripts for talent and director.
Log all games and interviews.
Gather and disseminate Chyron information.
Operate a Teleprompter
Research game and player statistics.
Research sports stories on the Internet.
Assist with graphics and still store.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Responsible for running and managing a graphics play out rundown machine while communicating with directors and producers in a live show setting.
Knowledge of ISQ play out panel is a plus.
Must be proficient at navigating social media websites (Facebook and Twitter especially) and implementing social media components into our daily shows.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications/Requirements
Must be capable of following and understanding a show rundown and confident of making graphic adjustments on the fly.
Must have a good eye for graphics and spelling mistakes.
Thorough knowledge of local and national sports required.
Must have basic knowledge of windows-based systems.
Must have the ability to operate in the control room.
Must have willingness to work non-traditional hours and days
