Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities include:
• Support products and projects that span across the NBCU portfolio of brands and platforms
• Assist in the development of the strategy for the suite of ad products to be delivered to stakeholders
• Develop strong relationships with key Ad Sales stakeholders, as well as other critical peer groups (Technology, Brand leads)
• Coordinate cross-departmental projects, assembling and articulating requirements, building consensus, setting up and leading team meetings, recapping and documenting decisions, ensuring deadlines are met, and reporting status on a regular basis to the PMO.
• Manage risk & mitigation strategies, relay back complex ideas to senior management to drive decision making
• Support and evangelize product/technical related inquiries from the ad Digital Ad Experience team
• Derive business requirements and develop users stories
• Oversee development timelines for implementation of new products and product features
• Evaluate current & new business opportunities, innovative technologies and make recommendations, decisions and design solutions based on analysis and strategic alignment
• Stay on top of ad tech, media, and general technology trends; translate them into POVs, share with product and business teams, devise ways to assimilate trends internally
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
• 8-10 years of experience working in the digital media space, ideally with a premium publisher or ad tech company
• Demonstrated analytical skills to create insights and improve products
• Deep knowledge of the digital advertising landscape, specifically with video ad serving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly document user stories and requirements, create presentations & present effectively to different audiences – technical, senior leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of employees across the business, including our most senior leaders.
• Strong technical background and advanced Knowledge of ad-serving technologies: DART/DFP, FreeWheel, Third Party Servers, HTML, JavaScript, mobile, video, email advertising, Native, Salesforce and Project Management a plus.
• Ability to conceptualize issues, quickly develop solutions, and implement action plans
• Experience with using Jira or similar system to track and maintain feature requirements and development progress
• Adept at organizing multiple projects at once
• Demonstrate ability to set priorities while handling multiple projects
• Tremendous listening skills and attention to detail
