Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist – Global Tech TA Team
Our team recruits for over 500 technology roles in the US, UK, Sri Lanka and India. We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist who has used an array of typical, creative and cutting-edge sourcing strategies. The role can be based in London England or San Antonio Texas.
In your role, you will partner with recruiters and hiring managers to create sourcing strategies designed to identify, engage, and screen top technology prospects for current roles while cultivating passive technology talent communities in engineering, tech ops, security, architecture, QA, and core platforms. Our Tech organization has a great EVP: our technologists solve important problems on a global scale with cutting-edge technologies who are truly part of a once in a generation opportunity to disrupt the global education industry.
You’ll be part of a global Talent Acquisition team and be one of two sourcers focused on using creative sourcing strategies to source technology talent. We're a great team. We work hard, play hard, and love to have a good laugh. You'll have a Linkedin Recruiter seat and the autonomy to source through a variety of proven sourcing channels and established proprietary prospect sources. In the spirit of our mantra at Pearson “Always Learning” and with your senior level sourcing expertise, we’d like you to teach us to be the best sourcers we can be, so we’ll be looking to you to continuously demonstrate creative methods for sourcing to us. We’ll want you to be a big contributor to talent mapping in specific markets to help recruiters and hiring managers make strategic decisions on where to recruit for talent. We have established KPIs, so if you have experience aligning your practice to metrics, that's a plus.
Qualifications
Here is what's required to be successful:
• A track record of sourcing top technology talent for a global company
• Great competitive and market intelligence knowledge
• Able to quickly size up sourcing requirements and deliver a packaged pool of high quality candidates to recruiters
• Flexible, nimble, team player, go-getter, self-starter, and easy going
• Attention to detail and strong tracking skills are a must
• Really enjoy the hunt and feel intrinsically rewarded when you help make lots of great hires and when you find the ‘purple squirrel’
• Guru, Jedi, Genius, Master of all sourcing channels - social media, Linkedin, tech communities, etc. LinkedIn certification preferred
• Skilled Boolean writer
• Brand ambassador throughout all channels
