The Traditional Processing team is responsible for receiving, processing, capturing data from and storing examination material for both traditional paper based marking and online marking.
The purpose of this role is to support the management team by leading temporary and permanent resource in delivering each examination cycle from set-up to completion. The focus will be on goods receipt and library services however the Team Leader will also be expected to work on other processes e.g. data capture, data validation.
In the main summer exams period the processing team process all material received during the processing window to agreed specifications and deadlines to allow the Results Resolution team to release a complete set of results, whilst the Library file and supply all scripts as required for meetings. Alongside this the Post team services the STA contract and manages all deliveries in and out of the site.
This covers, but not limited to, location of unallocated materials, re-allocation of scripts, booking in/out non scannable e-pen scripts, and an extensive period of post results services (EAR’s, ATSO, ATSC etc.)
This team also handles the booking in, moderation event facilitation and return to schools for international coursework and design & Technology coursework
Key Accountabilities:-
Provide a customer focused service, ensuring both written and verbal communication is clear and concise
Develop and maintain a professional relationship with internal and external customers
Interpret management information and make informed decisions from it, and escalate as appropriate
Utilise management information to support individuals and the team in delivering performance to required service levels
Administrate the delivery of the Induction process
Deliver on the job training to all temporary resource
Monitor temp resource IT access, so that only appropriate access for the current role is in place, and that access is both made available, and terminated promptly
Collect, track and monitor accurate time and attendance data for temporary resource which supports accurate payment and management of time and attendance.
Plan and implement distribution of work using appropriate MI
Gather information to support the resolution of complaints and queries as directed by line manager
Review and gather work metrics for each discrete process as directed by the line manager
Identify and contribute to process improvements which improve quality, service and reduce cost
Facilitate set-up of physical resource as directed by the line manage
Undertake other projects as directed by line manager
Qualifications
English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
Working knowledge of MS Office
FLT Licence - desirable
