The IAS Corporate Strategy & Development team is looking for a big picture product market strategy person to join our team. If you are passionate about researching new ideas and bringing them to life in a fast-paced high-growth entrepreneurial environment - this is your role. We are your team.
Reporting into the Chief Product Officer, who leads product management, strategy, and corporate development, you be working to evaluate new market opportunities, potential acquisitions and develop a deep understanding of trends, challenges, and opportunities facing our market. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service & Product teams. The Director of Corporate Strategy will have skin in the game and own processes end to end.
Responsibilities:
• Market Analysis: Maintain a solid understanding of market trends, challenges and opportunities as they relate to the IAS product portfolio and overall corporate strategy; identify gaps in our ability to meet demand or differentiate; quantifying implications in terms of revenue & differentiated positioning
• New Market Strategy:Work with international teams to ensure that there is a well-established plan for entry into and key success criteria in international markets.
• Competitive Analysis:Evaluate and perform gap analysis on key competitive set providing plans for re-packaging/positioning of existing portfolio as well as SWOT analysis against competitive set.
• Asset Acquisition:Conduct build, buy or partner analysis based on the needs of the IAS business. Ensure our raw data assets are comprehensive and differentiated, identifying gaps in assets, sources to pursue, data contribution/partnership incentives, engaging accordingly with partnerships team
• GTM Planning Support: Support ongoing activity in developing business plans, financial projections, differentiated positioning, streamlined scripts, appropriate training materials, and GTM roll-out plans to enable sales success
Requirements:
• EXPERIENCE:At least 5+ years experience in the product management/marketing/management consulting or related roles with demonstrated success in ideating and delivering high-value solutions, with significant adoption and revenue impact. BA/BS degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering (or other quantitative disciplines preferred). MBA a plus.
• DATA & SEGMENTATION EXPERTISE: Expertise in working with data, modeling, and analytics to build business and strategic plans.
• DOMAIN EXPERTISE: A strong understanding of the goals, challenges, and strategies facing digital marketing, they key players and high level market trends.
• BUSINESS ACUMEN: Ability to build and articulate business plans effectively, thinking strategically and analytically to operate with a focus on revenue and market differentiation.
• STRATEGIC APPROACH:Critical thinking to separate signal from noise. Creative thinking to solve for roadblocks. Methodical, disciplined and focused in executing toward specific outcomes.
• VERSATILITY–A product person who thinks strategically, speaks both marketing & tech. Someone who can crunch numbers or tell captivating stories. A drive and eagerness to pursue new challenges, ability to learn quickly, embracing change as an opportunity to evolve, and the versatility to succeed in almost any environment.
• OPTIMISTIC:Welcomes challenges and setback as opportunities for growth, confident about successful outcomes. Persistent and patient, maintaining excitement within long, arduous phases.
