As part of the Latin Regional Office, the Sr. Coordinator, International Marketing is responsible for the communication, assistance, and delivery of important assets and tools to the Latin-Iberia Region. This position is based in Miami, Florida.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the creation, development, and execution of international marketing strategies, packaging design, ad campaigns, and tour planning.
• Participate in short and long term creative planning to ensure a clear and consistent message for of projects to the Latin-Iberia Region.
• Deliver to the Latin-Iberia Region the necessary information, tools and parts such as promotional product, including advertising materials, album packaging, press releases, videos, retail displays and posters of our upcoming and current projects.
• Keep the Latin-Iberia Region informed of the release schedule projects.
◦ Prepare and distribute to the Latin Region various reports.
◦ Gather editorial activities across commercial partners.
◦ Gather social media campaign activities across key properties.
• Work closely with the Publicity department to research and coordinate the delivery of press releases and key information of promotional activities to the Latin-Iberia Region.
• Work with the A&R department for the early planning of new projects and creation of tools that could benefit the Latin-Iberia Region with a specific release and its configuration.
• Work with Marketing Managers to ensure that the latest marketing plans and project updates have been shared with the Latin-Iberia Region.
• Participate in planning with the Marketing Managers the logistics and execution of International phoners with the Latin-Iberia Region.
• Plan and facilitate artist's and staff International traveling for promotional purposes in the Latin-Iberia Region.
• Plan and facilitate logistics and content capturing (i.e. IDs, commentaries, etc) for main commercial and digital media partners
• Work closely with insights and analytics team on project/campaign key performance analysis
• Work closely with digital team on early project and campaign planning/execution
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years related experience in areas such as: marketing, promotion, event planning, tour marketing, publicity, digital. Marketing experience in music or entertainment industry strongly preferred.
• Must be bi-lingual in English and Spanish languages, with expert level of proficiency. Portuguese language skills would be considered a plus.
• Passionate music fan with broad knowledge of Latin music market.
• Must be “fluent” with technology / avid user of mobile and computers; PC (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook etc); Mac OS (keynote, itunes, etc).
• Strong knowledge of Social Media.
• Recommended Sony Systems to be familiar with: SAMIS, NextBigSound, PRS, GLORES, Digital Exchange.
• Multicultural sensibility and tolerance.
• Strong social skills; ‘Roll with the punches’ attitude; able to deal with big personalities, artists and the like.
• Must thrive in high volume, high energy work place and environment. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail oriented, organized, timely and accurate.
• Given time differences, off hours work is to be expected. “Always available” attitude.
