We’re looking for a Product Marketing Strategy Lead to join our marketing team and grow global adoption of Twitter’s largest product efforts, from new creative expression formats to features that make it easier to discover and engage with content. Through Twitter’s platform, everyone has the power to create and share ideas instantly and without barriers.
What you’ll do
This role involves taking the strategic lead across multiple product areas, including creative expression, content discovery, and user engagement. The role reports directly into the Global Director of Consumer Product Marketing.
You will help define a unified product marketing strategy and work side-by-side with specialist Product Marketing Managers to deliver effective go-to-market strategies in their product areas. You will also have the opportunity to shape product strategy by contributing robust market, competitive, and audience insights through marketing research and business strategy. Above all, you will contribute to every facet of the product's strategic journey - from consumer opportunities, competitive analysis, product positioning, naming, objectives and metrics, to overall go-to-market activities.
• Drive the development and execution of a unified product marketing strategy across all consumer and creator product areas.
• Work closely with individual product marketers to ensure effective go-to-market strategies that align with broader product and consumer marketing strategy.
• Partner closely with product managers to shape and refine the product holistically across features via compelling market insights.
• Lead the development of actionable consumer insights and market intelligence by partnering with Market Research, Data Science, and User Research teams.
• Advocate for the wants and needs of the consumer across marketing, product, communications, and media stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively across the company to craft cross-product messaging strategies.
• Lead ad-hoc initiatives to inform key strategic decisions with impact across product areas.
Who you are
You demonstrate passion for consumers, brand and product storytelling, innovative user experiences, as well as have the ability to use insights to inform initiatives that improve the consumer experience and drive habitual behaviors. Above all, you’ll have the strategic experience and creative chops to help make Twitter one of the most loved daily experiences for people around the world.
• You have a background in consumer and tech strategy; you may have experience in top-tier management consulting or corporate strategy function of major tech companies.
• You’re experienced working with product management and engineering organizations.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of work experience overall.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business impact and balance rigor with speed.
• Demonstrated passion for consumer brand positioning and innovative experiences.
• Ability to manage and influence complex and cross-functional working teams.
• Ability to handle the pace and ambiguity that comes with working in a fast-moving, innovative, start-up-style environment.
