DESCRIPTION:
Deliver reports for daily newscasts. Develop contacts, enterprise hard news stories, write and produce packages and respond well to breaking and spot news. Ensure balanced and ethical presentation of the news. Must possess strong writing, producing and reporting skills. Candidates must be able to enterprise unique content. Must meet deadlines. Must have excellent news judgment, good written, verbal and personal communication skills. Must be a strong team player. Prepare content for station website as needed. Need strong sense of current events, including local news and national news. Required to generate content for web and use social media like Twitter to promote stories.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Significant experience in general assignment reporting. Live television experience is a must. Should be reporting at least two to three years in a medium sized market.
