AEG Global Partnerships is seeking a Digital Account Executive who is a self-starter with digital sales experience to work with our growing team. This individual should possess a strong sales acumen and deep knowledge of the digital marketplace. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative team responsible for sales growth both nationally and internationally for one of AEG’s largest brands, axs.com and AXS Ticketing.
Essential Duties
•Performs necessary analysis and planning to assure that the objectives and priorities for each sales call are established and met in time frames acceptable to the client.
•Sells the most prominent digital advertising to and works with high level clients in an assigned territory
•Identifies and cultivates senior level personnel in targeted accounts who make digital advertising purchasing decisions
•Develops or coordinates the development of sales presentations to clients and potential clients
•Addresses clients’ concerns, questions and objections; works to close sales with each targeted client
•May negotiate pricing and advertising placement and content
•Keeps sales management apprised of progress toward established revenue goals and of the progress in closing identified prospects
Required Qualifications
•A minimum education level of a Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)
•Minimum of 2-3 years of digital sales experience
•Existing relationships with national agency/ client contacts
•Familiarity with various digital marketing research tools: ComScore Media Metrix and Plan Metrics
•Understanding of the marketplace, particularly with the programmatic and video space
•Experience with custom content production, native advertising executions, and integrated & multiplatform content sponsorships including mobile.
•Proven background in developing, closing and maintaining strategic advertising accounts
•Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills
•Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel) and the ability to learn required business systems.
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment
•Ability to develop deals that attract and keep customers while generating targeted revenue (a plus)
•International Sales experience; specifically in London (a plus)
