Responsibilities
SUMMARY: Supports a UPR Human Resources team by serving as the point of contact in the administration, processing, dissemination of information including: employment, benefits, personnel records, payroll, training and development, employee services, or employee relations. Serves as the first contact point for Team Members in issue identification and resolution where appropriate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Acts as a liaison with core HR partners and provides general information to Team Members on policy interpretation, EAP concerns, Benefit/Payroll/Records inquiries and staffing needs.
•Prepares, distributes and displays communication materials at remote project facilities such as information on benefits enrollment, payroll notices, training classes, Team Member services, Team Member events, etc.
•Supports HR team with project planning org chart creation / maintenance / requisition tracking. Completes Personnel Change Request (PCR), Organizational Change Request (OCR), Personnel Payroll Action (PPA) and Position Management (PM) forms for NBCU and UO system changes. Ensures employment requisitions are opened and maintained.
•First line support related to any Employee Relations issues. Gathers information, evaluates, responds when appropriate and/or refers to HR Rep and Manager for further investigation and follow up as needed.
•Partners with Team Member Services to ensure convenient access to benefits / perks / discounts / programs at remote project facilities. Partners with internal/external clients in coordination of Team Member offerings at remote project facilities such as, Team Care, Walgreens, Fairwinds Credit Union visits and other vendor opportunities.
•Supports performance management and merit planning procedures as requested by the HR team.
•Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High school degree or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred from 4 year College or University in HR, Psychology, Business or related field.
EXPERIENCE: 1-3 Years: Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment required, preferably in an employee relations or HR generalist role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
