Job Description:
Position will be involved in tracking & reporting of theatrical, special programming, and sporting event performance. Monitoring competitive television landscape, including weekly tracking of competing programs of interest. Additional ad hoc assignments in relation to program tracking and analysis
Intern will be a resource for the Programming Research department, assisting in the overall functioning of television research, which serves as a support group for Program Planning & Scheduling, Marketing, & Sports among others.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications (the below are standard and will not change)
• Current undergraduate student (rising junior or above)
• Strong Interest in the Cable/Entertainment Industry
• 2.50 GPA or above v Submission of a cover letter - required
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail v Able to work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work and prioritize work assignments
• Able to provide administrative support as needed
Preferred:
• Cable television experience a plus
• Active participation in extracurricular activities; clubs; and/or associations. Leadership positions while maintaining an above-average GPA, a plus
• Prior internship experience in a related field, a plus
