Overview and Responsibilities
The primary focus of the Coordinator Archives Deliverables TV Support is to ensure that TV deliverables are received and achieved in accordance with current policies and procedures.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Track TV archival deliverables on a per-title and episode basis; maintain databases and other records
• Evaluate metadata for incoming assets, arrange QC as required
• Work with internal studio personnel and third party vendors to facilitate delivery on TV deliverables assets to the Archive
• Fulfill research requests originating from TV Post Production or other business units
• Research and recommend changes to delivery requirements to reflect evolving technology and business needs
• Create purchase orders and track expenditures for digital preservation work
• Perform collection research, create reports and presentation materials as required
• Confirm assets have been ingested into Digital Asset management Platform
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2-3 years related experience in TV post production, whether in a studio, lab, vendor, or production setting
• Strong oral and written communication skills required to effectively communicate with Company personnel and outside parties
• Experience using Microsoft Office and Filemaker Pro
Additional Qualifications
• Experience with Television editorial workflows and paperwork
• Ability to recognize media formats both current and obsolete
• Familiarity with archival principles
• Basic understanding of digital mastering formats and/or metadata for digital assets
• Strong customer service skills
• Detail and process oriented; able to handle and prioritize a high volume of work
