DESCRIPTION:
CBS Local Media San Francisco is seeking a Digital Media Sales Planner to join our team. The Sales Planner’s primary responsibility is to support the ad sales team by helping foster client relationships, maintain their needs and expectations, and craft compelling responses to advertiser RFP’s and client objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Work with Sales Team to create custom Sales collateral that identifies with each client specifically by doing research and data analysis
Manage the development of proposals for high value brand video advertising campaigns
Based on advertiser’s objectives, recommend ad placements, impression volumes and content channels by evaluating inventory to find effective placements that meet ad campaign objectives
Prepare PowerPoint presentations for advertisers that outline recommended media plans and persuasively communicate how the plan will reach the advertiser’s target audience and meet its marketing objectives
Conduct research in comScore to pull necessary demographic and psychographic information to incorporate into proposals
Enter proposals into agency planning tools, including DoubleClick MediaVisor and Atlas

Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-pace environment
Self motivated with strong communication skills
Advanced data analysis and problem solving skills
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience utilizing online tools comScore Media Metrix, AdRelevance and @Plan, Operative, Triton
BA/BS degree
1-2 years of Online media planning and/or buying experience at an agency/direct advertiser or publisher sales environment
