Job Description
Our new colleague will be working with exiting topics that influence all the employees at Massive. Therefore, if you are ready for a role where you are trusted with bridging the gap between internal needs and external suppliers, you are probably the one we are looking for to join the Massive Operations team. You will deal with purchasing, both based on existing contracts, but also searching for new partners and possibilities to minimize costs and enhance the quality of our suppliers.
This is a permanent position based in Malmö, Sweden, and requires working onsite.
You as a person
As you will be responsible for acquiring goods and services for the studio with focus on reducing costs, you have a sensible and research-oriented way of meeting the request and at the same time controlling external risks. You like to deal with supply and demand, and know where to push/hold back in order to get to the needed outcome. You are accustomed to being the facilitator of making things happen, and like to be the coordinator and go-to-person for inquiries regarding procurement in a highly flexible and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
• Management of the entire purchasing process: from requests and desires to the definition of the business need, over the purchase order. Helping the teams express their needs in a clear manner, to ensure quality of the procurement
• Suggesting solutions and participating in the sourcing of acquiring the goods or services
• Getting price estimates and proceed to quick negotiations with suppliers and the teams
• Be the main point of contact for the orders, hereby establishing close interactions with teams, clients and suppliers, this includes quality check-up, prices and following-up
• Ensuring the accountants have the necessary external information
Qualifications
• 2-3 years of experience with procurement, and/or purchasing
• Knowledge about IT procurement
• Coordination experience, and skills within management of external relationships
• Knowledge about forecasting of supply needs and defining risks
• Financial background and negotiation experience
• Knowledge of ethical standards in terms of gifts, meals, benefits etc.
