Ubisoft Toronto is a growing and diverse team on a collective mission to create what’s next in AAA games. Since opening our studio in 2010, our team has shipped the critically-acclaimed Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist as lead studio, and Assassin’s Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, Far Cry Primal and Watch Dogs 2 in collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal. In 2012, we opened our state-of-the-art Performance Capture Studio, and Playtest. We are currently working on For Honor in collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal, as well as several top-secret, unannounced projects.

Reporting to the Communications Manager, responsibilities include:
• Management of day-to-day activities on external channels with an emphasis on driving audience engagement to positively grow studio awareness and reputation.
• Development of a rich variety of content including blogs, social engagement, and thought-leadership pieces targeted to specific audiences.
• Working closely with other members of the communications and studio production teams, identify content opportunities and execute with creativity and impact.
• Collaboration with the Studio Creative Services team on social and video content creation.
• Creation and management of ads/promotions on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, to help grow studio image and attract the best talent.
• Creation of analytics reports detailing reach and engagement; develop recommendations and best practices for future content and campaigns.
• Monitoring of trends in content marketing, social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
• Events support as required to ensure the communications team successfully executes with excellence
Training:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing and/or Journalism
Relevant Experience:
• Must have at least 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a creative industry would be considered an asset.
Essential Skills:
• Strong written communications with a proven ability to adapt and target content for diverse audiences.
• Results-driven approach to and understanding of content creation and engagement principles for web and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn).
• Deep understanding of the Ubisoft business environment.
• Knowledge of social analytics platforms, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Graphic design, video content creation, and photography experience and interest is an asset.
• Experience with WordPress, HTML and CSS.
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop concepts with limited direction.
• Exceptional research skills.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude with a desire to work collaboratively with other members of the communications and studio teams.
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset, but is not required.
