Responsibilities
NBCUniversal’s Content Innovation Agency is seeking a Creative Director to oversee the development and creation of marketing communications promoting the NBCUniversal brand.
This includes on-air elements, digital content, print, and off-channel assets.
S/he will lead a highly creative team to produce brand marketing-related projects and be required to be adapt at interfacing with senior facing executives within NBCU.
This position reports into the SVP, Creative.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic responsibilities:
Minimum 5 years at an advertising, media or design agency working on the development and creation of brand creative
Eligibility Requirements:
Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.
Must be able to provide work samples; ideally while applying
Must be willing to work in New York, NY
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Must be 18 years or older
Desired Characteristics
Bachelor’s degree in design, communications or similar field
An award-worthy book/reel/site, showcasing ability to execute amazing creative
Solid knowledge of all things digital across variety of mediums/medias
Familiarity with the creative community, especially writing and great conceptual thinking
Good contacts with outside vendors
Self-starter
Proactive thinker
Can handle several projects at once
Ability to take creative direction and implement changes
Strong communication skills
Strong conceptual and strategic skills
