Overview and Responsibilities
Manages and oversees the workflow of branded content creative for MTV. The Project Manager functions as a key role driving projects forward as the main point of contact across Creative, Production, and Integrated Marketing. The Project Manager will act as liaison between creative team and the client, while managing project timelines to ensure on time delivery of the final product and a successful outcome for all parties.
Responsibilities
• Create and maintain project schedule
• Schedule and oversee kick off meetings with business teams/clients and creative team
• Confirm team members have all elements and/or necessary team members/funding needed for assigned projects
• Review all assigned creative before routing to Marketing departments to confirm all business goals and comments are met
• In charge of routing each round of the project to business team, creative team, Copy Content, Legal, Standards for feedback, along with other necessary stakeholders specific to the project (and call and run meetings when necessary)
• Responsible for ensuring all comments/feedback are received and compiled on time
• Resolve issues involving conflicting comments for projects
• Responsible for sending out clear communication to all creative team members, including external creative agencies
• Oversee and confirm as necessary that the creative team meets project deadlines
• Establish and maintain relationships with Production, Marketing, Legal, Standards, and Library departments to ensure approval process runs smoothly
• Understanding of the MTV brand and culture
• Maintain weekly status report for all assigned projects
• Organize and update server/shared drive with all necessary project documents/invoices/creative files
• Responsible for collecting and tracking the invoices from outside vendors
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Project Management experience for at least 3-5 years
