Responsibilities
Job Description Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a project that encompass all aspects of a show’s Marketing campaign. From kickoff through final delivery, the Project Manager ensures that assets are completed on time and on budget. This position reports to the Director of Production.
Qualifications/Requirements
Responsibilities
• Own a campaign from kickoff through completion; manage budgets and schedules for all phases of a project
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
• Daily tracking of scripts, design materials, assets and production elements for assigned projects
• Be the point of communication with project team and share updates and assets as needed
• Handle receiving invoices through SNAP Finance system
• Develop/maintain relationships with in-house creative teams, outside vendors and Freelance talent
• Collaborate with Creative team to identify the appropriate vendor/freelancer for a project, given timeline and budget
• Responsible for updating the status of missing promos on NOC generated missing list
• Responsible for coordinating with Program Strategy on the status of spots delivering for air
• Responsible for sending ProM generated production reports to promo producers with delivery details
• Responsible for the assigning of team members to projects and deliverables in ProM
• Receive/review creative/asset requests and ensure team members understand, then achieve, project goals
• Facilitator of assets, working with MAM and PA teams to collect, distribute assets to in-house creative teams and/or external vendors
• Collaborate with Legal and Music teams on any contracts or license agreements
• Collaborate with Shoots and Photo teams
• Route all stages of projects through proper channels
• Establish and maintain relationships with Syfy’s Digital, Strat/Brand Marketing, Sales, Legal, Programming and Scheduling departments
• Route and traffic all stages of projects as needed; set up reviews with all approvers
• Partner with our Development team, Show and Post Production teams to coordinate asset delivery and shoot schedules
• Partner with MAM team to optimize asset delivery, sharing and storage
• Support and collaborate with your peers on the Production team
• Be a mentor to junior staff
Desired Characteristics
Eligibility Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
• At least 3 years of experience in Post-Production managing their own projects

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid foundation and understanding of both graphics and video assets (specs, formats)
• Excellent written and oral skills
• Positive attitude
• Self-starter who is assertive, enthusiastic and highly motivated
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, environment
• Team-oriented
• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office and Dropbox
