You spot compliance needs for new and existing customers before anyone else. You enjoy collaborating with other departments to develop leading compliance solutions, and to bring them to market.
In a company that transforms compliance from a requirement into a competitive advantage, you will be implementing solutions for our customers in the Bloomberg Vault and Surveillance Client Services Team.

The volume of communication, trade, voice, and social media data along with files and documents generated by regulated companies is growing at a staggering rate. At the same time, regulatory scrutiny has placed increased pressure on firms to deploy smart, scalable technology and next-generation compliance analytics to minimize risk.
Bloomberg Vault is a secure, hosted compliance solution that enables governance of communication data–based information, file analytics and trade reconstruction across the enterprise. It consolidates compliance, legal and data management processes into an integrated, real-time system to help regulated firms succeed in a transformed environment.
What you can expect from your full-time opportunity:
You will join the Global Data Training Programme for two-weeks which will help you build the foundation for your entire career at Bloomberg. Joining the Global Data department means you are a part of one of the world's leading sources of data, providing accurate, up-to-the-second insights for financial market professionals. You will develop product knowledge, learn about our clients and their needs and build relationships throughout the company. The training will teach you about financial concepts, data and the functions of our state-of-the-art Bloomberg Terminal.
We will trust you to:
• Collaborate with the Bloomberg Terminal and Bloomberg Vault Sales and Technical teams to identify compliance needs of customers
• Employ a consultative approach based on customer's business and compliance objectives; Provide intelligence and recommendation regarding product set up and configuration to internal and external customers for successful implementation.
• Manage the customer's product subscription process, including the drafting of legal documents with pre-approved template, carrying out due diligence to ensure proper customer authorization and legal contracts are in place
• Implement Bloomberg Vault & Surveillance solutions for the customers, configure product set up based on enterprise needs via updating and maintaining internal database.
• Provide customer supports with day-to-day product specific inquiries, assist customers with technical issues
• Liaise with Product and Engineering Team for product enhancements based on customers' feedbacks.
You need to have:
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in customer support and/or account management
• Strong project management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
• Exemplary verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• The capacity to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Excellent organisational and customer service skills
• A commitment to enhancing and developing products
• An understanding of the financial markets
• Availability to start by March 2017
It would be great if you had:
• Knowledge of a second European language
• Knowledge in information technology and statistical analysis or computer programming (for example VBA, SQL, Python)
• Experience in Process Engineering and/or Data Modeling
