DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for running broadcast board inclusive of digital editing, recording and maintaining network feeds.
Assist the producer and assistant producer in the following: stay abreast of current news, events and trends locally/nationally that are relevant and compelling to listeners, research topic areas utilizing various resources, ie., internet, relationships, Twitter, Facebook, assist with light production work.
Protect the company's FCC license.
Other duties as required by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: Familiarity with radio station format and equipment required. Proficient in studio board operation. Must be able to perform with little supervision. High school diploma required. Ability to learn and utilize new software applications and equipment as show requires. Highly knowledgeable of Adobe Audition and Vox Pro. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Preferred: Minimum 2 years experience and familiarity with FCC rules and regulations preferred. College degree in media-related major preferred. Knolwedgeable with ProTools.
