Company Description
Ubi Workshop is a team of Ubisoft Montreal in charge of extending the universe of video games by creating clothes, accessories, engravings and much more for Ubisoft’s fans.
The incumbent will be primarily responsible for creating and producing visual concepts for the Ubi Workshop website, in order to highlight the range of products derived from Ubisoft's brands for online sales.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
•Create and design visual concepts and graphics (eg. banners, landing page) for various projects related to different Ubisoft brands;
•Work on the aesthetics of the product images for the Ubi Workshop website in order to make them appealing to the consumer;
•Conceptualize and create artistic elements of high quality using his/her expertise in industry standard software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc;
•Design models and adapt them to supported media (mobiles, tablets, touch screens, etc.);
•Collaborate with partners to implement and follow the brand guidelines;
•Collaborate with integrators and developers to carry out different mandates;
•Ensure the regular updating of the visuals on our websites, social networks and partner sites;
•Develop graphic charts;
•Carry out the assembly and the layout of various documents (advertisements, printed documents, internal documents, promotional flyers, newsletters, visuals for our websites and social networks, official documents, posters, etc.);
•Perform other related duties.
Qualifications:
•AEC, DEC or BAC in web design or any other equivalent training;
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in web design;
•Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite programs (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.);
•Knowledge of software for video editing (eg. Adobe Premiere) and / or 3D creation (eg. 3ds Max), an asset;
•Ability to work in a PC environment;
•Knowledge of current trends in web design and fashion;
•Knowledge of video games, an asset;
•Knowledge of illustration and printing processes, an asset;
•Sense of organization, autonomy and ethics of proactive work;
•Result oriented and meet deadlines;
•Ability to adapt to change;
•Attention to detail and artistic judgment;
•Proficiency in French is essential, English is an asset.
