Responsibilities
The Live Stream Operations Manager will play a critical part in the execution of Golf Channel’s daily live stream initiatives. Working closely with the Director of Digital Operations, the Live Stream Manager will be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and quality control of all live-streamed golf events.
Responsibilities
Manage all scheduling plans and changes/delays for all live event streams
Lead communications between internal and external teams
Management of the Video Content Management System, as needed.
Technical point of contact for special event stream requests and executions
Lead/engage in operational and technical troubleshooting
Collaborate with the research team to craft live stream analytics and reporting insights
Work closely with the on-air programming team, leading up to and during weekend tournament coverage
Work closely with the Sales team and Stamford development to execute sponsorships.
Exhibit strong focus on quality control and testing
Effectively communicate planning and issue resolution with highly technical teams within both digital and broadcast
Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
3 years of experience in a technical, video, or project management role
Knowledge of web, online video, and mobile standards & best practices
Experience working cross-functionally with outside vendors and internal resources such as developers, designers, editorial, and advertising operations
Experience accessing and analyzing web analytics is a plus (i.e. Google Analytics, Omniture, Conviva,etc.)
Must be able to work shift inclusive of weekends (Wed-Sun or Thurs-Mon)
