Job Summary:
Oversees national artist promotions for iHeartRadio's portfolio of Urban stations.
• Represent iHeartMedia at album release events, concerts and showcases
• Hosts weekly calls & meetings with labels to discuss priority projects
• Provides detailed proposals and recaps to managers and labels in support of all national urban programs
• Assists Urban Brand Management Team with day to day projects, correspondence, arrange meetings and events as needed
• Spearheads artist asset management around ongoing artist programs, theater and tentpole events
• Local production oversight for national content captures, acting as the first point of contact for all visiting Urban artists at LA and NY stations
• Develop pitch and recap decks, including valuations and artist profiles for iHeart programming, sales initiatives, and branded content programs
• Manages Urban artist program ROI database, identify trends and creates weekly reports to be sent out to programmers within the format
• Assists with the production and execution of annual music summits
• Keeping aware of short- and long-term roadmaps on new releases, tours, etc, and using that awareness to identify and secure talent for iHeartMedia performances, client programs and other initiatives
Experience/Skills/Qualifications
• Experience developing branded content programs and booking artists for said programs.
• Must have an innate understanding of how to balance a media company’s needs with artists’ priorities and develop win/win solutions for all.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills a must.
• Remarkable attention to detail and a flare for follow-through.
• A flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends/odd hours and travel as needed.
• Experience analyzing metrics and clearly defining ROI for programs.
• The desire to work as part of a team – collaboration is key here.
• Excellent time/project management skills; ability to multi-task.
• Great people skills and a positive attitude are a must.
