Responsibilities
The Global Distribution division within NBCUniversal is responsible for the domestic and international distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of linear and digital media (EST, VOD and SVOD). The World Wide New Media Feature Metadata Servicing team is looking for an Assistant Manager who will procure, create and distribute metadata and artwork to new media licensees in accordance with contractual terms.
Responsibilities
Research and create metadata for film titles produced or acquired by NBCUniversal for worldwide distribution. Source information from various internal/external sources and import into our database using our metadata tool, proofread, export and deliver metadata in Excel spreadsheets, XML or any other format in accordance with client specs for publishing online.
Work with multiple internal groups to source territory specific metadata such as ratings, title translations and release dates.
Work closely with the Creative team to request localized artwork in multiple specs.
Coordinate with the Sales, Product Management, and Materials team to deliver high volumes of digital content for launches and troubleshoot issues.
Respond to client inquiries regarding content or deliveries.
Perform other related duties as requested by management.

Desired Characteristics
Prior experience in Film/TV Distribution or Operations
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Ability to react quickly to resolve short-term issues without losing track of longer-term tasks, prioritize requests, self-direct and maintain focus under strict deadline pressure and concurrent priorities
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Advanced writing, proofreading and editing skills
Ability to interact professionally with high-profile clients
Ability to aggregate and process large amounts of information from a variety of electronic sources
Positive work ethic with high degree of integrity and professionalism
Familiarity with digital content as distributed via New Media, such as online sales/rentals, game consoles, subscription services, etc.
