Description:
We’re looking for a sharp, detail oriented team player to support our global events team. The right candidate is someone who embraces challenges, isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive right in, is passionate about EA and event production. This is a 6 month contract position.
Responsibilities:
• Support the strategic planning and production of high value events that deliver a premium local and broadcast experience, as well as the product narrative, premium guest experience, and maximum ROI.Events to include E3 and Gamescom as well as NA consumer, retail, competitive gaming, influencer and press events
• Support event plans in partnership with CFX teams including Earned Media, Web, CRM, Brand Product Marketing and Integrated Communications.
• Help coordinate all consumer-facing marketing communications and guest experience touchpoints including ticketing and registration.
• Support communication with show management, manage all paperwork needed to engage with vendors and the venue.
• Ensure all events meet EA and title-specific ROI objectives, reach metrics, through the line communications and adhere to spending guidelines.
• Responsible for creating and updating all event calendars, maintaining and organizing event equipment, booking hotels, transportation and catering
• Organize event assets and route for approvals as needed.
• Assist with load-in and rehearsal schedules.
• Coordinate a matrix of vendors including Construction, Art/Design, IT and Show Services.
• Assist with budget tracking to drive operational efficiency.
• Research new event opportunities.
• Staff the events as needed. Travel may be required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, journalism, marketing or liberal arts.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
• Organized: we're talking "Type A," obsessive attention to details.
• Tactical: able to prioritize and manage a high volume of work and able to juggle multiple projects at once.
• Resourceful: knows how to research new vendors, best practices and special projects.
• Team player: willing to jump in and help with big projects and learn on the go.
