Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
The Events and Operations Coordinator will assist the Events and Operations team in their day-to-day activities managing events, accounting, press mailers and office administrative duties.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assist with researching events (venues, hotels, activities, merchandise)
Facilitate and staff press events including semi-annual press tours, award shows, press junkets, etc
Manage event guests lists, invitations and RSVPs for multiple events simultaneously
Utilize Photoshop or similar software to help design signs, invitations and other event collateral
Maintain the calendars and manage the schedules of your managers
Assist with accounts payable for the Press and Publicity department
General office and administrative duties
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Strong knowledge of Photoshop
Eligibility Requirements:

Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
Must have work authorization to work in the United States
Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
