Meredith Performance Marketing (MPM) is seeking an exceptionally talented Software Engineer to join their Boston-based tech team. Qualified candidates will explore and develop new technologies to solve problems and enhance MPM’s best-in-class marketing technology platform. You'll be part of a small, fast-paced engineering team with big ambitions and the backing of a digital media powerhouse.
What You’ll Do:
● Create and maintain multiple websites using Rails and MySQL
● Integrate with evolving MPM technology
● Come up with and test ideas to improve on-site experience and performance metrics
● Produce scalable, robust, tested, high-quality code

● Enjoys collaborating with other technical and non-technical team members
What You Need:
● Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the greater Boston area
● Four-year degree in Computer Science, related subject, or equivalent work experience
● 4+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
● 2+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
● 2+ years of experience with SQL (MySQL preferred)
● Experience with JQuery, JQuery Mobile, Bootstrap
● Experience working in a Linux environment
● PHP, cloud computing, and Design / Photoshop experience all a plus
● Ability to understand complex business requirements and provide technical solutions
● Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
