Summary of Position:
Lionsgate is a premier next generation global content leader with a diversified presence in motion picture production and distribution, TV programming and syndication, home entertainment, video games and digital distribution. Lionsgate theatrical releases include films developed and produced in-‐house, co-‐developed and co-‐produced, and acquired from third parties. Popular film & TV franchises include The Hunger Games, Divergent, Twilight, Mad Men and Orange is the New Black.
Summary of Position:
Lionsgate is currently seeking a very experienced Executive Vice President, International Marketing, reporting to the President of Worldwide Marketing. The position oversees and directs the international marketing team which supports Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with Lionsgate Motion Picture Group to develop worldwide marketing objectives, strategies, plans and budgets across all film titles
• Provides strategic and creative direction & oversight for the local execution of global strategies to optimize international business
• Works with International Distributors to develop more actionable plans for film releases
• Work with local markets to identify customization needs of sales and marketing materials for local use
• Establish consistent communication process and protocol for international markets
• Creates a smooth workflow of necessary marketing and creative materials to international distributors
Experience & Skills:
This position requires an extremely capable individual with a proven marketing and management track record who enjoys working in a fast-‐paced entrepreneurial environment, is tactful, a team builder, detail-‐oriented and possesses strong analytical, management, organizational and communication skills.
• Minimum of 15 years international marketing experience (with increasing responsibilities) required; advertising agency account supervision experience a plus
• Effective leadership and proven management skills required
• Sound understanding of marketing principles as well as their practical application to the international marketplace
• Very strong and effective presentation skills for buyers and senior media executives
• Experience in working closely with a global media sales team, providing outstanding support as a partner to have drive international content sales
• Hands-‐on experience in developing close relationships with international content buyers globally, understanding and being responsive to their needs, and supporting their businesses
• Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers of all levels from senior corporate management on down
• Obsessive attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize while ensuring flawless execution
• Must be able to initiate and carry projects from concept to completion
