Core Responsibilities
• Provides an overall strategic direction for the creation, management, and implementation of enterprise level standards. Oversees the execution of strategies as they relate to the establishment, maintenance and implementation of standards across multiple organizations. Works with leadership and other standards professionals in the field and business units to deliver objectives to drive the overall strategy.
• Recommends and implements corrective action across organizations, as necessary, to improve program performance.
• Works with internal client groups to continuously improve the processes by which standards are created, managed and implemented. Develops and ensures adherence to policies, process, procedures, and budget of governing standards.
• Builds and maintains organizational knowledge as it relates to the function of managing standards projects and programs.
-Serves as a subject matter expert to business unit & field standards leads. Provides direction and communication related to corporate enterprise standards, shares best practices, and creates alignment where needed. May be called on to assist with selection, onboarding, and training of field standards professionals.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
