We expect our PPC Director to be one of the most focused people at the company. By definition, this person needs to be analytical, accurate and agile. You will test campaigns constantly with the goal of always ensuring that ROI justifies the spend. This person will make a significant impact at the company through their work and those of their direct reports. The PPC Director manages a small group of direct reports.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensuring our paid budget hits monthly, quarterly and yearly goals in terms of business generated, not just lead generation
• Conceptualize, develop and manage paid advertising strategies and roadmaps across all ad platforms - this involves setting up campaigns, keyword expansion, ad group segmentation, keyword bidding, and ad copy / landing page testing
• Manage, guide and grow PPC specialists on paid marketing processes, performance goals, expectations and accountability
• Manage and analyze traffic sources, spends, budgets and overall campaign performance
• Analyze lead performance and provide ongoing data analysis
• Working with designers to develop high converting landing pages and engaging advertisements
• Consistent and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of all KPI's to demonstrate successes and challenges with all digital marketing efforts
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist and create and monitor A/B test advertisements and landing pages
• Collaborate and share knowledge across verticals to increase productivity of all projects
• Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments
• Ability to work with organic marketing team to share data, trends, ideas and resources
• Using paid social media ads to generate qualified traffic, leads and clients
• Working alongside our social media specialists to ensure we are responding to comments, messages and engagement from paid ads
REQUIREMENTS
• 4-6 years of experience in paid online marketing
• Demonstrated ability to run successful paid campaigns on multiple platforms
• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree
• Demonstrated ability to combine data from multiple sources and manipulate to analyze and interpret business performance
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to make your own ad creatives
• Advanced knowledge of PPC tools (e.g., AdWords Editor, Bing Ads Editor, Marin Software)
• Advanced knowledge of paid marketing via social platforms
• Advanced knowledge of retargeting platforms
• Advanced knowledge of Excel-based and PowerPoint-based reporting
• Ability and knowledge to work within Salesforce to report on goals and objectives
• Ability to motivate and lead a growing team
• Ability to communicate difficult messages
• Ability to function well in a team environment
• Ability to self-manage, drive initiatives and execute tasks to completion
• Talent for prioritizing

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to see continuously. Must be able to frequently stand, walk, view computer monitors, give and receive oral communication, bend, squat, reach above shoulder level, and discern color.
• Must be able to occasionally sit, drive, type, and make fine distinctions in sound
• Must be able to regularly lift/carry up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift/carry up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to do repetitive simple grasping, fine manipulation, and pushing and pulling on a frequent basis
• As needed work a varied schedule that could include nights, weekends and holidays
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience working in WordPress
• Experience as a writer or editor
• Experience with lead generation or affiliate marketing
• Experience with video paid marketing
