The company is seeking a Senior Director, Marketing Solutions to join the Global Sales and Partnerships group at the WWE Headquarters in Stamford, CT. This position will be responsible for leading creative marketing efforts with key TV and brand partners in support of strategic sales plans and developing go-to-market packaging strategy across all global sales verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ideate, conceptualize, and pitch creative and strategic marketing solutions to internal team members, senior WWE Executives, and external partners. Design and launch market-facing packages to operationalize these solutions.
• Drive the strategy, ideation and creative development of partnership-marketing and media-partner programs, to grow WWE’s revenue from sponsorships and monetization of digital assets.
• Develop creative sales concepts and solutions that lead to deeper integration and customer engagement for marketing partnerships by meeting brands’ marketing objectives, and fully utilizing WWE’s global, cross-platform media offerings.
• Design creative sales marketing ideas, with senior sales team to generate and expand strategic sales opportunities.
• Partner with WWE Corporate Strategy & Analytics team to identify business development opportunities. Support domestic and international media partners with creative cross-selling concepts and ideation.
• Develop concepts and ideas for presentations for internal and external clients, in partnership with the EVP and Vice President, Sales Operations, participate with sales leaders to improve creative and strategic sales tools and resources.
• Collaborate with WWE Consumer Insights, Account Management, Marketing, and other WWE sales and management resources as needed to drive growth initiatives.
• Travel to industry events and clients throughout the US and internationally based on business needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
• 10 or more years of relevant experience. Experience working at a promotional or marketing agency or entertainment company in advertising, marketing, or promotional/sports marketing or experience in marketing strategy for a major brand.
• Proven marketing leadership and experience in a growing, large and successful business environment.
• Proven experience in understanding the intersection of brand marketing objectives and cross-platform media offerings that can achieve a brand’s marketing goals.
• Demonstrated ability to create strategic plans with cross-functional peer involvement. Experience generating creative marketing strategies and presentations for brand and media partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to converse effectively with senior level internal and external stakeholders.
• A creative thinker who can generate multiple ideas that meet partners’ marketing objectives that can be taken to market quickly and executed efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Willing and able to travel for business and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Passionate, driven, aggressive, and personally accountable.
• Commanding presence and infectious energy.
• Strong MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Bachelor’s required. Master’s degree preferred.
