Role
The Digital Sales Manager will report to the General Manager and will have passion for digital marketing and the creative vision to be the Cumulus ambassador for our Birmingham Cluster. We provide our teams with a great product to sell, superior training tools, and a sales management system that supports business development and rewards performance. Development of these key client relations and retention is a critical component of our success. Cumulus places particular emphasis on account analysis, determining client needs, and implementing innovative strategies to ensure clients receive premium customer service and elevate client satisfaction.

Focus
• Responsible for training and support for sellers with our digital assets.
• Responsible for selling our digital assets.
• Present innovative solutions both verbally and written.
• Build relationships and rapport with key accounts while advancing share and maintaining rate integrity.
• Be able to build marketing plans that include radio and digital assets.
• Provide consultation on the value of radio and digital to new prospects while making onsite visits
• Manage your time efficiently between selling, sales support and training.
Qualifications
• Digital media sales background of 2 years or more preferred
• Understand and utilize all digital assets, specifically SEO, targeting, social media and station specific web based assets
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Comfortable utilizing internet and social media
• The successful candidate must be positive, energetic, money motivated and have strong interpersonal skills
