The School Division is currently recruiting for one contract Telemarketer to call into schools across Ontario. These positions are home-office based. The telemarketer must have his/her own phone.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Telemarketer will focus on calling into schools to qualify and set up appointments for the Sales Associates to sell a targeted list of new products from February to June 2017.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Call into elementary and secondary schools to set up school appointments for Sales Associates.
• Support market research initiatives that will help qualify leads for the sales team.
• Work in collaboration with the full-time Sales team (Connected Sales Reps and Account Executives) to develop strategy, plan territory calling, and develop targeted messages for each board to ensure clear integration and execution of goals.
Qualifications
• A minimum of three (3) years sales experience with demonstrated sales success.
• Education background or telemarketing experiences would be an asset.
• Confidence and experience in interacting with Teachers and School Administrators.
• Strong communication, listening, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Google documents (including Google drive, Word, Excel).
