The challenge…
How do you improve the software delivery experience for all engineers at Netflix while embracing a culture of freedom and responsibility? This is the challenge that faces the Developer Productivity team. The team is responsible for providing a simple, robust build automation platform (Nebula) that works in concert with our nascent continuous binary integration system. The team also provides solutions for indexing and making sense of the development ecosystem, in an effort to the rapid refactoring of our codebase (Rewrite). You will be pivotal in leading the team that shapes the evolution of how we build code at Netflix.
The opportunity…
You will lead a team of amazing engineers to improve the developer experience for engineers at Netflix. You will partner with engineering leaders across Netflix to ensure alignment about engineering challenges and opportunities. You’ll drive the strategy of the Netflix developer experience that improves the Netflix Build System, reduces the burden of binary integration and enables the rapid refactoring of our codebase.

• Build and lead a high performing engineering teamCultivate relationships both inside and outside of Netflix
• Possess a strong technical foundation and willingness to learn fast
• Evangelize build automation, continuous integration, dependency management, and continuous delivery tooling and best practices
