Harper’s BAZAAR seeks an Integrated Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the strategy, development, and activation of integrated marketing and added-value programs across the Jewelry/Watch & Non-Endemic categories for both BAZAAR and ShopBAZAAR, the magazine’s e-commerce platform. The Integrated Marketing Manager will collaborate with both the print/integrated, online, and e-commerce teams to create promotions and programs spanning all platforms–including but not limited to: custom creative concepts, in-book promotions, events, digital integrations, social media extensions, and more.
Job Responsibilities:
(60%)
• Strategize, create, and write integrated marketing proposals for Jewelry/Watch & Non-Endemic accounts
• Conceptualize, develop, and oversee the activation of advertiser-specific marketing platforms, such as in-book advertorials and native executions, digital campaigns, and customized experiences and events
• Communicate marketing concepts and programs by writing proposals, presentations, and one-sheets
• Participate in the development of BAZAAR signature platforms/opportunities
• Manage day to day requests from sales staff
• Work directly with clients to execute activated integrated marketing programs
(30%)
• Manage project budgets and timelines
• Oversee development of recaps/case studies post sale
• Work with other Hearst titles to develop integrated, cross-brand concepts
(10%)
• Attend sales calls with sales staff to present programs
• Develop relationships with third party organizations and vendors to enhance arsenal of integrated marketing offerings for category
Required Skills:
• Minimum 4+ years marketing experience
• Strong creative skills and experience in developing compelling integrated marketing programs; strong copywriting skills required
• An understanding of the editorial product and fashion industry are also highly recommended for this position
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple projects
• Strong presentation skills (verbal, written)
• Proficiency with InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
