Purpose of Role
The overall purpose of the Qualification Portfolio Coordinator role is to support the administration of the qualification portfolio team.
Key Accountabilities
To ensure that key tasks related to the management of qualification development projects and activities are completed effectively. To liaise with team members to ensure that activities are correctly recorded. To support team meetings, progress meetings and other activities to ensure effective communication on projects and progress.
Key Tasks
• Set up and closure of projects on product workflow systems
• Routing of customer queries via ITSM to the relevant technical or sector/subject expert
• Maintaining a meeting schedule for the portfolio
• Maintaining schedules for the portfolio
• Coordinating meetings, including travel arrangements and preparing and/or editing meeting minutes, presentations and materials
• Filing all project documents (hard and soft copies) and ensuring project records are accurately archived for audit purposes
• Processing writer expense claims
• Managing the accurate submission of data and documents onto the Regulator IT System
• Providing information to other Pearson departments including design services, CPS, publishers and website team
Qualifications
Previous Work Experience
Essential:
• Experience in an administrative environment - able to work on own initiative and deal with a large number of people and to work to tight deadlines.
Desirable:
• Project management experience
Systems, Tools & IT Literacy
Essential:
• Competent with Microsoft Office
• Use of Google systems for mail and documents
Education, Qualifications & Training
Essential:
• Qualifications equivalent to level 3 or above
Desirable:
Educated to degree or equivalent level
Working Pattern - 37.5 hours per week
