We have an opening for an experienced, innovative, strategic Web Analytics and Insights Managerin our Columbus, OH office. Does this sound like you?
Reporting to the Director, Web Production, the Web Analytics and Insights Manager will be responsible for providing excellence in web analytics for the McGraw-Hill Education website. The individual will be part of a team that will partner with key marketing and product stakeholders as well as IT counterparts to effectively support data driven decisions on the website.
Critical Functions:
• Implement dashboards and prepare monthly updates that summarize month over month/year over year Web and eCommerce performance.
• Provide regular, meaningful and actionable insights based on data that enables the business unit marketing teams to take action to drive conversions and adjust strategy.
• Share insights around eCommerce functions and support the eCommerce team with analytics.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis as required to address key questions and issues.
• Provide ad hoc training of web tools - specifically Adobe Analytics for end users across the enterprise.
• Work with the technology team and vendor(s) to ensure business requirements are understood and being met during the implementation phase.
• Update and maintain business reporting requirements by working with the various teams to identify success events, conversion points, KPI's and report dimensions needed to understand product success.
• Ensure analytics tags are setup properly within the web experience.
• Develop a monthly process to generate new ideas and initiatives to optimize the eCommerce and Web experience.
• Provide appropriate competitive analysis and benchmarking to members of the executive committee and Web management team.
A successful candidate will have:
• Bachelors’ Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Three plus years of relevant experience working with analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.), tag management (Adobe DTM, Ensighten, etc.) and testing (Adobe Target, Optimizely, etc.) platforms.
• Ability to read JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; ability to write a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to create model to track performance of the eCommerce and Web experience.
• Demonstrated ability to answer business questions using analytics data and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate analytic insights to non-analytic stakeholders.
• Strong team player and experience working cross functionally.
• Excellent analytic skills and fluency with Microsoft Excel.
