Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a temporary Associate Digital Marketing Manager for console, PC, and online brands. Specifically, we are looking for a consumer-oriented person who is interested in the online marketing of video games. This individual will report to the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing and will be responsible for supporting the strategy and execution of our online marketing strategies on AAA titles and may be asked to lead digital titles.
Responsibilities
• Campaign Management
◦ Support in development of digital strategy, planning, execution, optimization, and measurement/reporting across assigned titles
◦ Partner with cross-functional teams and international partners to optimize tactics and programs; lead coordination of executional details including assets, approvals and timelines
◦ Serve as a key partner to agencies and internal production
• Content Marketing
◦ Partner with manager to develop content strategy and style guides for assigned titles, across social platforms, websites, stand-alone destinations, and Ubi.com
◦ Manage day-to-day to ensure best practices are being followed, content is regularly posted, etc.
◦ Support execution of website content strategy.
◦ Lead creation of content calendar and make recommendations to align digital marketing-driven original content with PR calendar, community calendar, and overall content calendar
◦ Lead creation of all YouTube content including but not limited to end cards, annotations, meta data, and titles.
• Channel Management
◦ Provide executional plan to launch new channels and drive strategies.
◦ Lead day-to-day coordination with community team and ensure posts/tactics are moderated as needed
• Analytics
◦ Set KPIs and benchmarks for all tactics and program (with validation of manager); work directly with analytics to set up reporting cadence and format; gather analytics and metrics for reporting and assemble post mortems and reports.
◦ Spearhead reports and make optimization recommendations; lead execution of optimization plans.
◦ Identify digital marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
• Qualifications
• 2-4 years of experience working in the field of consumer marketing, digital marketing or equivalent relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of digital & social marketing programs including: digital production, social media behavior, research & analytics
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Collaborative, proactive and solutions orientated
• Active participant in digital and social media channels
• Passion for internet and gaming culture a big plus
• Entertainment or video game industry experience a plus
