The HR People Services is at the heart of all people transactions at Twitter. From the time we extend an offer to a candidate, HR People Services takes care of this person’s system transactions and all necessary administration to ensure a successful and smooth onboarding process. Geographically aligned to support their region, they work closely with COE teams, including Recruiting, HR Business Partners, Immigration and Mobility, Learning and Development, Information Technology, and Total Rewards to ensure data integrity for people data and efficient and scalable processes. They operate as the day to day administrative face of HR, providing high quality, white glove service for Tweeps in Asia Pacific countries. Must enjoy a relentless pursuit of process optimization, global scale, and automation.
Major Responsibilities:
• Works as a team to provide HR administrative coordination, data input in Workday and data management for all HR processes including
◦ Provides administrative support for recruiting and on-boarding process support including offer generation and facilitate orientation for new hires
◦ Coordinate with immigration and relocation teams as necessary
◦ Ensure background check is completed
◦ Own and manage data entry of employee lifecycle changes into Workday
◦ Assists with separation process by preparing documents and coordinating off-boarding process
• Timeliness, accuracy and thoroughness of data entry to preserve data integrity and support audit activities
• Ensure compliance in daily administration with all applicable processes, legal and regulatory requirements
• Act as liaison for all system related activity, participating in system implementations and enhancements as subject matter expert in region.
• Provides a high level of responsiveness on all HR inquiries. Respond to first level questions from employees on all HR topics, triage to functional HR experts as needed.
• Develop strong understanding for process management in systems, proactively identify opportunities for process improvement
• Works in conjunction with payroll team to add timely inputs in Workday for smooth running of payroll interface regionally
• Run basic adhoc reports out of Workday and help compile HR performance metrics.
• Prepares, maintains and audit personnel records and files to ensure compliance, consistency and accuracy
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree and/or equivalent experience
• 3- 5 years of HR shared services related experience
• Multi-lingual: Japanese and English speaking required
• Superior written and verbal communications skills with ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organizations
• Experience in supporting multiple countries in APAC and demonstrated ability to quickly learn about cultural and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical skills and detailed oriented
• Familiarity with Workday, Salesforce, and other standard HR tools a plus
• Able to combine and manage large data sets in Google docs and Excel
• System savvy and process oriented
• Addresses most challenges and issues in a calm, steady, “can-do” manner
