We’re looking for an IT Operations Specialist to join Snap Inc. We’re looking for someone who can help expand our Global IT presence by providing IT support for our Ukraine locations. We are looking for someone who exhibits a high level of professionalism in providing customer service, and exercises sound judgment to provide timely resolutions to difficult technical problems. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional Windows and Mac troubleshooting skills.
What you’ll do:
• Organize onsite IT support
• Work with the Global IT team to develop and support cloud and on-site tech services: network, client management, cloud storages, VPN, Google Apps, OKTA, Atlassian, etc.
• Ensure and be responsible for the IT security of several offices
• Drive constant communication with the global team
• Provide remote support via ticket, chat, phone, or video conference for the EMEA region
• Help document and automate common tasks
• Manage equipment inventory, software applications, and other IT assets
• Suggest ways to improve processes and solve problems
What we’re looking for:
• Someone who is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian is required, other languages are a plus (French, German, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience providing support in a professional enterprise IT environment
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
• Ability to maintain great relationships with global customers, business partners, and IT team members
• Someone who loves front-line support and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service experiences
• A natural problem solver who enjoys identifying ways to make things better
• Experience setting up Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence, etc. (user management workflow)
• A basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model, UDP, TCP, NAT, ARP, DNS, DHCP)
• An understanding of proper use and installation of UTP and fiber optic cables
• An understanding of ethernet operations and VLAN's (Virtual Local Area Network)
• An understanding of basic network security implementations and best practices
• Someone who has a basic understanding of VoIP and QoS
• Extensive experience using both macOS and Microsoft Windows
• Experience with client management systems like JAMF and Airwatch is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft PowerShell is a plus
• Experience working in a VFX studio environment is a plus
• Experience with the Google Apps Suite is a plus
• Experience with Zoom, Bluejeans, Google Hangouts, and Lifesize is a plus
• Basic knowledge of audio visual support is a plus
