Introduction:
Where the global treasury community meets EuroFinance, an Economist Group business, is the leading global provider of conferences, training and research in the treasury, cash management and risk space. We provide a platform for treasurers and CFOs to exchange strategy and best practice - either face to face or online - and meet with the key financial institutions and providers.
We are seeking a head of content to lead the development and delivery of EuroFinance events and thought leadership content. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, customer-centric content across multiple platforms (e.g., events, webinars, website, EuroFinance’s corporate treasury network (ECTN), reports, newsletters, social media etc.), driving innovation in event formats and ensuring all event programmes and speaker faculties are of a world-class standard.
Accountabilities:
Key accountabilities
• Lead the development of forward thinking and dynamic content for all EuroFinance products – conferences, training, research, ECTN and publications
• Work with the sales, ECTN and programming team to find workable solutions to address client needs
• Analyse and identify key industry trends to deliver engaging, customer-centric content across multiple platforms
• Originate content not produced by staff and/or contractors
• Manage and edit all submitted content, ensuring editorial quality
• Manage content team (staff and contractors) – allocating resources as needed to deliver all products.
• Provide support and coaching to the programme head who has responsibility for the day-to-day project management of events
• Develop effective relationships with financial services professionals to raise both your profile and that of EuroFinance within the treasury community
• Collaborate with other departments across the wider Group such as the EIU –to create compelling content (through video, reports, podcasts etc.)
• Establish processes to streamline content creation from idea generation to market delivery
• Work with other departments within the business (operations, sales, marketing) to enhance the participant experience at events, e.g. digital offerings, new agenda formats etc.
Performance measures
• Satisfied clients (sponsors and delegates) from both buy and sell side across all products lines
• Delivering integrated management of all content
• Develop successful new events/products

Experience, skills and professional attributes:
To succeed in the role you must have:
• Proven experience including extensive ‘high level’ content/programme development
• Background in finance, media or events (virtual or live)
• Demonstrable track record of writing and developing content and event programmes to deadline and delivery to budget and quality standards
• Demonstrable ability to develop effective relationships with senior industry professionals
• Excellent client facing and team building experience
• Experience of managing a busy team who juggle multiple projects simultaneously
