The Audio Engineer is responsible for metadata, system and asset level support for domestic and international users. The Engineer is also responsible for trouble shooting domestic and international supply chain issues. Necessary skill sets include digitization, audio master assembly, upload, clip creation and quality control of digital audio content.
This person must be highly organized with a sharp focus on details. Audio editing experience and knowledge of digital audio anomalies needed as the engineer will be tasked with quality control and troubleshooting assets. Key skills include system support, troubleshooting, audio digitization, music and song structure knowledge and general Windows networking skills.
This is a part-time position.
Responsibilities:
AUDIO PROCESSES:
• File package creation from a PMCD or a file based format through software based tools
• Detailed quality control and quality assurance
• Data entry
• Migration of assets into the asset management system
• Clip point identification (first verse, chorus, etc)
• Metadata and asset level troubleshooting
• Audio Mastering / Editing
• Part-Time Position
Job requirements:
• Efficiency and organizational skills a must to handle large priority lists and status updates
• Must be extremely detail oriented and focused to catch all audio errors
• Good grasp of song structure a must for efficient clip point creation
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of system messaging and metadata a must
• Troubleshooting experience a must

SKILLS:
• Troubleshooting techniques
• General knowledge of digital audio
• General knowledge of audio quality attributes
• General knowledge of digital compression formats/techniques
• General knowledge in the following applications:
◦ Audio editors (Sequoia, Sound Forge)
◦ Digital Asset Management Applications and processes
◦ Audio digitization systems
◦ FTP/SFTP (Filezilla, etc)
◦ Word
◦ Excel
◦ Outlook
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
◦ Minimum 3 years experience audio engineering/editing/post production and/or a degree from an accredited media engineering school with appropriate training certification
