Job Description
The Internal Communications Sr. Manager, EMEA will be based in London and will report to the Director, Internal Communications (based in New York). This is a unique, multifaceted position responsible for overseeing internal communications for our EMEA-based offices.
Responsibilities:
• Assess needs by market and build communications plans to address them
• Provide end-to-end internal communications support for EMEA-based team members, brands and businesses
• Strategic planning and tactical execution of communications plans and programs
• Build excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders
• Develop and execute creative, informative and engaging communication plans and messages
• Advise on appropriate channels to maximise impact. Assess the current communication channels by market and identify opportunities for greater global alignment
• Create, write and/or edit campaign content
• Evaluate communications effectiveness within the region. Develop and test new, innovative ways to communicate with the greatest impact
• Work with US colleagues on communications for the sales teams
• Hands on position, must be prepared to roll up your sleeves
• Collaborate with US-based IC team members as well as external communications and marketing colleagues globally to ensure alignment
Qualifications:
• Ideally 5-7 years’ overall experience with relevant experience managing internal communications across multiple markets in a fast paced, global, multi market environment
• Good relationship management and interpersonal skills; ability to work with senior executives and drive strategy
• Ability to be flexible, pivot when needed and operate in the “grey”
• Highly organized and detailed
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment under pressure with tight deadlines
• A wide degree of latitude is expected
• Creative and willing to bring new ideas and fresh thinking to the table
• High comfort level working with a team and manager based in the U.S
• BA/BS/Undergraduate (degree in Communication, English or Journalism is preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written skills are required; must be able to crisply articulate concepts
• Bi-lingual capability would be a plus (ideally German, French, Spanish, Italian)
