The Hearst Men’s Group Digital Marketing Director will be accountable for increasing advertising revenues and sponsorship sales for Esquire, Popular Mechanics, Car & Driver and Road & Track by developing marketing programs and advertising products and services that successfully support those efforts. The role oversees a team of two digital marketers and reports into the Senior Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities include:
• Oversee and lead a team of 2 talented marketing staffers - a Senior Manager and Manger - who execute and support sales marketing programs. This role is responsible for developing each team member individually, cultivating a a positive team environment and for implementing and enforcing approved sales marketing strategies, policies and procedures.
• Manage and promote ongoing communication with HMG Integrated teams ensuring alignment on editorial and marketing initiatives
• Drive key category growth across brands by working with Men’s Group Site Directors to create sell-able opportunities across the year and elevate them to both HMG and HDM teams
• Become an expert in each site, successfully navigating and communicating each brands’ nuances
• Draft general presentations and high-level brand sales collateral
• Act as key digital resource in client meetings in partnership with both Digital and Integrated Sales representatives
• Develop best-in-class proposals for top-tier and high-revenue RFPs, RFIs and proactive asks
• Own and foster key internal relationships across Print, Project Management, Account Management, Editorial, Content and Video Studios and the Hearst Auto Group
• Participate in internal and external (client-facing) kick-off meetings

• Ability to leverage the same polished and professional manner to interface with and develop a rapport with internal stakeholders
• The ability to forge positive working relationships with internal Hearst stakeholders to set yourself up for buy-in and support when needed
• Is resourceful, solution-focused and a multi-tasker
• Has strong prioritization and time management skills
