Job Introduction
The New Broadcasting House Belfast team is responsible for delivering the new headquarters for BBC Northern Ireland. The property programme have been gathering the requirements, reviewing proposed finance, creating the plans and investigating partnership opportunities for a new Broadcasting House in Belfast. Our aim is to identify viable options to deliver a future-proofed solution for BBC Northern Ireland. This is a major project which requires skilful project management throughout.
Role Responsibility
As the Management Accountant, one of your main responsibilities will be to contribute proactively to the delivery of the forecasting and budgeting processes of the project and to ensure effective short and long term financial planning. You will be a key contact for reporting, producing high quality reports and building a detailed understanding of project’s finances. It will also be your responsibility to address ad hoc business queries/reporting/analysis.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be a proven Management accountant fully qualified in a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA). You will have PQE of a minimum of two projects with a duration of +6 months and with a budget of £10k+. Your ability to communicate effectively will be strong, presenting technical information in a clear and concise format to finance and non-finance people. As you will be working closely with various departments, you will build effective relationships by facilitating collaboration and putting a priority on delivering quality information.
