REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Field Services LOCATION: Wilmington C&B/SBU/CORP FUNCTION: TDC
SUMMARY:
Execution of processes and procedures relating to product acquisition, shipping/receiving and field service/logistics operations for the Technicolor Digital Cinema group. Provide feedback and support for the dynamic nature of the Field Services/Logistics department, of which duties include but are not limited to:
KEY DELIVERABLES
• Ability to follow processes and procedures in the Field Service Operations/Logistics department, providing staging and fulfillment of TDC equipment and systems orders for the digital on-screen advertising, electronic Feature/Content distribution products and services
• Responsible for mid-level bench repair of HDF, HDC, ESCAN servers, Thingest/TNG, OSA/DC projectors, scalers, switches, routers and other devices as directed by the FS Supervisor, acting in accordance with guidelines established by Project Manager and/or Director of Operations
• Process detailed sales orders, programming or creating the appropriate configurations of equipment packages / kits for theatre site/screen equipment based on guidelines provided by the Director Operations, Project Manager and/or Supervisor
• Oversight of the troubleshooting and repairs (RMAs) or similar process to verify normal operation and/or identify basic faulty equipment issues; Coordinate the tendering of all parts shipments to/from the appropriate OEMs and carriers
• Receiving telephone, email and system order requests, and coordinate the staging and shipment of new / replacements, and return and exchange of defective products to vendors in a timely manner.
• Perform various operations to track and maintain house and field inventories within the established and future computer systems environment, including Excel, Oracle, SQL and associated web interfaces.
• Perform some of the responsibilities of the department supervisor or technical service specialist, in their absence, upon assignment or under special projects given by qualified personnel.
• Communicate in a timely manner with the department management on any issue requiring escalation
• Coordinate with Project management to maintain adequate levels of logistics resources to daily operations
• Process detailed Digital Parts staging and fulfillment service orders.
• Proactively maintain parts inventory accuracy; responsible for weekly, monthly, annual inventory reporting and audits
• Perform various operations to track and maintain house parts inventories and repair tracking.
• Where applicable, provide guidance and assistance to the OSA Support Team related to field problems and likely resolution strategies of equipment serviced by the OSA Systems Test and Technical Support Specialist.
• Documentation and completion of all paperwork and billing documents associated with services and repairs completed by the OSA Systems Test and Technical Support Specialist.

• Ability to successfully clock in and out every day using a badge time swipe attendance system; Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes overtime. Regular attendance is scheduled and required.
