Job Summary:
Responsible for troubleshooting operations issues, providing technical
solutions to operational problems, new product implementation,
implementing existing products and services, contributing in project
teams at times, and the overall upkeep and maintenance of designated
areas of engineering. Considered a SME on a given product or line of
business. Acts in compliance with industry and Company technical
requirements, standards, policies, and procedure. Provides technical
leadership to less experienced engineers and project teams. Has in-
depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Has in-depth
experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines
own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less
experience.
Core Responsibilities:
• Listens to and understands customer requests and provides the most
effective resolution. Acts as the escalation point within the team.
• Provides guidance/mentoring to Engineers 1-2.
• May serve as a team leader within a work group or on cross-functional
teams.
• Gathers requirements and provides level of effort (LOE) for documents.
• Collaborates with and fosters relationships with internal and external
customers.
• Documents and communicates technical situations within the
troubleshooting tools both internally and externally.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters
of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work
nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Specification:
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
• CCNP, CCDP, CCENT, CCT, JNCIP
• Generally requires 5-7 years related experience.
