Job Description
Ubisoft Entertainment, a global leader in the videogames and entertainment software industry, is currently
seeking a temporary Assistant Producer for the highly anticipated new RPG - "South Park: The Fractured but Whole!".
We are looking for a highly talented, motivated and experienced person for this role in our San Francisco studio. You will be working with our award-winning team to coordinate and track deliverables, provide expert knowledge to increase the game’s quality, and learn all phases of the software development cycle. You will be part of small, collaboration-oriented team where you will have the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Producer to drive progress and improve the game throughout development (from concept to code release, including foreign translations and ports)
• Take ownership of specific development area to coordinate and track schedules, identify current and future risks, and troubleshoot communication and dependency problems
• Improve the game’s quality by evaluating builds and pushing for accountability
• Facilitate communication across the development team and other departments including Marketing, QA, Operations, Customer Service, Localization, Legal and Ubi.com
• Learn new production, design and communication techniques
• Travel to developers or licensors when required
• Qualifications
• 2+ years’ experience as an Assistant Producer or Production Coordinator in the videogame industry
• Demonstrated ability to produce project results across multiple departments
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Strong project management skills
• Great relationship-building skills
• Comfortable presenting game demos, interest in PR events and press interviews
• A passion for and keen interest in multiple genres of video games
• Solid knowledge of Jira, MS Office, MS Project and PowerPoint
• Positive attitude and outlook
