Position: Programmer Analyst
Job Duties: Analyze and initiate development within the system per user business needs. Analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, perform coding, test/debug programs. Balance business requirements with technical feasibility and set expectations on new projects. Recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Work with other technical team members to establish, maintain, build and release standards. Implement and follow standards and policies as defined by corporate and division senior management; escalate exceptions to direct manager or senior management staff. Responsible for maintaining stability of assigned application. Ensure systems are running efficiently for internal customers and external vendors. Respond to incoming issues via tracking systems and proactively monitor system for problems. Train system users if appropriate. Attend meetings as required with intra-organizations or external vendors to discuss issues and maintain relationships. Work with the business stakeholders and other programmers and analysts to develop a solution or enhance existing solution. Gather information from users and work to understand their needs. Write specifications and/or write code and communicate to business stakeholders. Keep abreast of recent trends and help the company incorporate industry best practices and important developments into its products.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, followed by 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a technical consultant/solutions analyst-related occupation.
Special Requirements: Following skills must have been gained through work experience:
1) At least 4 years of experience in SAP and functional areas such as Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), Sales and Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM), and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM);
2) At least 2 years of experience in designing, testing, and deploying SAP enterprise solutions;
3) At least 2 years of experience in developing system based on solution concluded;
4) At least 2 years of experience in revenue recognition tool RevPro;
5) At least 4 years of experience in Scrum and Agile;
6) At least 2 years of experience in data virtualization tool Denodo;
7) At least 2 years of experience in reporting tool Business Objects; and
8) At least 4 years of experience in technical design documentation.
