Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
The Hair/Make-Up/Wardrobe Scheduling Manager will provide front-line management of all Hair, Make-Up, Wardrobe personnel for a customer driven production operations group. Coordinate all staffing and logistical requirements prior to air and ensure that all Hair, Make-Up, Wardrobe components of the production go as planned.
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
For assigned program(s), work closely with all show personnel in planning programs, scheduling manpower resources, and inputting schedule into our database.
Ensure efficient utilization of company resources within a fast paced rapidly changing environment.
Work with other NBC entities, outside broadcasters and vendors to identify, negotiate for and secure required resources.
Assist in the strategic financial planning process and the development and tracking of short and long term productions.
Process and approve payroll,
Track Vacation Days, Sick Time, Personal Days for Employees
Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in live, studio television production experience.
Must have proficient computer skills, including Outlook, MS Word, Excel.
Must have strong administrative and organizational skills
Must have managerial skills.

Willingness to work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
Must be willing to work in New York City
Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Desired Characteristics
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or equivalent field.
Work well under pressure, including tight deadlines.
Clear communication skills with the ability to be effective across diverse groups throughout the company and external vendors.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Success in management of represented personnel and knowledge of relevant collective bargaining agreements with IATSE.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
